We are a family practice that believes strongly in treating all of our patients with respect and providing the gentle and personal care you deserve. With over 20 years of experience and using the latest dental technologies, we offer a full range of services, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign™, periodontal treatment, crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, and more.
In August 2021, we moved to a brand new office located directly across the street from our old location. While we are proud of our new, modern and updated facility, we also recognized that things have changed since the onset of the pandemic. Accordingly, we have installed an upgraded HVAC system and closed dental and hygiene operatories. As an additional safety measure, we have also installed hospital-grade Surgically Clean Air™ air purification units in all of our operatories and our waiting room. These units are constantly cleaning the air and providing as safe an environment as possible.
A Message From King Street Dental
The Importance of Regular Check-Ups
Regular dental check-ups are an important part of any good prevention program. Your dental checkup at King Street Dental allows us to detect problems when they are small, in order to keep them from becoming worse. Regular dental cleanings remove plaque and tartar build-up around teeth which cause tooth decay and gum disease. For children, regular checkups allow us to monitor the growth of their teeth and jaws and treat potential orthodontic problems before they become major ones. For patients of all ages, regular dental checkups allow us to monitor the wear on existing fillings, replacing those which are worn out before they begin to break down and allow the tooth underneath to decay.
From reviewing current dental literature and from our own clinical observations, we feel that a policy of semi-annual check-ups, adopted by the Canadian Dental Association, provides a good preventive program for our patients. Some patients need more frequent monitoring, some less, but the semi-annual dental checkup is designed to prevent costly long-term dental problems and enhance your overall oral health.
